I'm just curious as to when Browning quit making the BAR in Belgium and possibly how much she is worth. I put a Red Field, Wide Field scope on her and I can look under the scope to see the iron sights.
I have a 1917 Remington Mosin-Nagant with all matching serial numbers. All the markings, from the barrel to the stock are there except 1. There seems to be no US stamp just in front of the magazine weld which from what I read, means that it was never placed into US Service. Does this mean it was...
I'm looking for some good iron sights and I'm putting a tactical folding stock on it so I can choose between pistol grip or folding the stock down. Only issue with the stock is that I'll have to paint it black but no big deal. Here is the stock I'm looking at...
I would suggest a 30-o6 as it's the North American rifle and you can pick up ammo for it just about everywhere. It was designed to hunt anything in North America so even if you wanted to hunt elk then go for it, plus its a very reasonable rifle for the price and great for long distances.
I already own my 308 but thats an assault rifle. I don't plan on shooting it much as it will be mainly a hunting rifle. My Uncle owns a 338 Ultra Mag and I love it so it's always been a dream to buy one.
True but I'm a typical guy. I like a larger caliber gun but it has to be practicable. A 50 Cal just doesn't make any sense in my hands or against my wallet though I would still love one. That's why I'm decided to scale back to a 338.
I can but it's the basic DPMS hand guard on it so it will require a drill and to put a little dooby on it. I'm drawing a blank as to what it's called, I plan on doing it anyways but for a sling. I do alot of tree stand hunting so a Bi-pod would only weight the front end down to begin with.
I've been reading a lot on what is the best type of ammo for long distances to use with my LR 308 made by panther arms. I removed the front sight and put in a low profile gas block and do not plan on putting a bi pod on the barrel as it could effect long distances. I've been debating between...
I've been looking to purchase a good hunting rifle able to reach an easy 300-400 yards. I already have my 308 which is very capable but now I'm looking to go bigger. I've been reading up a little on a .338 Caliber yet I'm still unsure of the differences between an Ultra Mag and a Win Mag other...
I've looked at the Ruger a few times but had a lot of questions with it. The size is a little smaller than I liked but definitely workable. I was curious as to how cheap extra mags for it are.
I was thinking about getting a nice little .22 that is in the M-4 design. I've thought it over and decided that I didn't an AR-15 Converted over to a .22 caliber but just a .22 caliber it's self. I was curious if anyone has had experiences with these designs and how well you believe they...
I was curious as to where I might be able to find a good cheek for my LR-308. It has the same stock as an M-4 as it's adjustable. I'm also looking for a better trigger assembly so that it would have an easier pull to it. If anyone has suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks
here is a tip that I found, even though you clean it after every time you shoot it I like to pull both my 40 and 45 apart and re-oil them right before I take them out the the range. I've never had a problem with jamming since I started doing that. My 40 would jam about every other mag and...
