Already time to rattle and grunt?

I got to my stand this evening around 4:30. After getting setup I grunted 3 times then rattled real lite for about a minute and within seconds I had a small buck run in looking. I'd say its getting closer, mostly the little bucks might react like mine did I say this early.

    Bucks out of velvet

Yes I did buy a new bow. I just bought it about a month ago. I bought a new Hoyt CRX 32. It's a really nice bow. I shot a lot of bows and I wanted a nice smooth draw bow, and I thought this one was one of the best. I got it all sighted in for season. I'm hoping to get back out to Weatherford and...

    Bucks out of velvet

I was wondering the same thing. I'm still getting a lot of movement with deer, even bucks I havn't seen before. Most of them are smaller, except for the buck above that his right side tines are all split. This is my first time to see him.

    2011 Trail Cam Pictures

Poke78 I just feed with corn. In Missouri you can't feed year around. You have to have your feeders and all sources of feed taken up 2 weeks prior to the first day of bow season. I hunt a place where I have a pond right behind me and old coal dumps to the south and west. I have beans and milo...
