    Turkey hunting 2024

Ceramic or aluminum "slates" due to the volume and pitch, cuts the wind well, and I'm pretty much always dealing with the wind. Have used a diaphragm call in 20y probably.

    Thunder Playoffs

I think they'll be okay until they play someone with a legit big man like Jokic. The Thunder's offense is great but they play defense like a college team, which NBA teams simply just don't do lol.

    18 yr old batteries?

The original red top Optimaz were awesome. I had two last 15 and 16y without tenders. The newer ones are just like the rest imo.

Kay County Wants it Both Ways

"Private" road surface/material..... "county" law enforcement of the road usage? Not sure there. One of the residents will put an attorney on it I would imagine soon.

    Feral hog poison

Anything considered a "poison" or "poisoning" anything, animal or plant gets so much negative feedback, warranted or not, that most entities even the USDA will never "approve" its use. Even considering the definition of poisoning, which doesn't even have to be by chemical means, is frowned upon...

The Barn Find 1955 Bel Air

I bet it does. Old real steel and a real paint job, it's amazing how long that will last sitting in the shade.

    95 Ford

My dad's 90' f150 long bed didn't feel very light when we removed it one time lol. I bet it weighs 3x what a new aluminum Super Duty long bed weighs. The tailgate alone weighs a ton.

If it did any damage, it will be a trade out for the rainfall we got. There's wasn't going to be much, if anything to harvest we didn't get rain this week. He should have just got some and is getting read to get more.

    Pop - Coke - Soda

Always called pop in NE Oklahoma growing up. Everyone I know from the Dakota's called/calls it soda.

I am afraid that the value of formerly collectible handguns is going down. Hear me out.

I think it will be a generational thing. In another 20y-30y, if it's not black or semi-auto or full auto, I don't think there will be much of a market for them. I know a lot of folks who collect firearms of all kinds, but I can only think of one who collects revolvers. He's about 55yo, all the...

What Is Your Longest Solo Road Trip?

I came up with about 12k miles on Google Earth. Straight line from point A to B was just over 9k miles. Farthest one for me is home to Carlisle, PA and back. Did the whole trip in one shot on the way home. 1300 miles, 21 hours.

What Is Your Longest Solo Road Trip?

I know it's a little squiggly, but how can that be a much greater distance than the circumference Earth?
