Agreed! I need to go get a prescription, but my gunsafe is full! Must NOT buy more. Am I neckbearding if I buy more .223 to trade with someone for .300 Blackout? lol
I got about 6k of 9mm and almost 3k of .223/5.56 at the Newcastle store. I didn't buy all the 9mm brass, but a buddy picked up the rest. From what I can remember, they had aluminum cased 9mm, .45, and 7.62x39.
Got this guy yesterday morning. Had trail pics of him and a much larger buck for the last couple weeks. Hunted hard with the bow for the last week and decided to break out the gun yesterday morning. He has some cool split tines! Now, back to the bow to get the bigger fella before he leaves town.
Definitely. I've shot a pig before but never recovered it and drew back on some bucks doing spot and stalk. Used to hold out for a trophy...and I went 3 years without! Not anymore, meat in the freezer! I do feel like I've awakened some ancestral instinct of enjoy watching an arrow sink into...
It is buy a tag and call every morning to see if they haven't met quota. I have family that has some land that backs up to National Forest. I was going to attempt to bait and arrow one this year, but it is falling right into my antelope hunt in WY. I'll probably give it a shot next year.
The...
I recently listened to a Hunt Backcountry podcast regarding this exact topic. As I carry a 9mm, I found it really unusual when the guy who has a legit bear preparedness class recommended 9mm or 10mm for semi auto. Of course, he encouraged all the big revolver calibers that have good velocity...
While out turkey hunting today, I finally found a couple dropped from this year. First was the freak nasty looking non typical (had two times broke off) and then the second wasn’t so great after finding the first. Bone is bone though!
Nice! Love watching hunting shots with vapor trails! As someone who wants to get into self filming hunts with my DSLR, I really enjoyed your editing! Props for taking the time to carry all that around with you! lol
Guess it is a little early in South Central OK. After doing some hog hunting, I stopped on the way home to see some bucks eating on a field. Everyone of them still had full sets of headgear!
Looks good! I use the strong developer and if it is a big skull, I'll make a paste to apply it. I'll then wrap it in cling wrap and let it go to work. Makes me miss doing skulls!
I'm surprised by the First Lite jacket. I don't own any of their gear, but a lot of the western guys live and die by them! Makes me second guess buying that jacket for next year late season. What size is it?
I recently picked up one in 6.5. Waiting on Vortex to get their new process finished so I can get my Razor HD LH on it, so it hasn't been shot yet. I figured it might have a little kick, but mine will be suppressed 99% of the time.
