Do not enter my home uninvited, whether I am currently on the premises or not. It's that simple.
If I get a call from the alarm company and you are in my house, you should hope that the police beat me there.
This is a good shoot as far as I am concerned.
Yes Danny, that means the dies are working. Notice that the case didn't grow at all after sizing, which is usually one time where some case growth happens.
They will grow slightly the first firing or two, but the X-die should keep it in check if it expands much after that (.002-.003 is...
Decent quality 9mm & 40 you can figure will sell for around $30/thousand right now if you're a private seller. That's for stuff that isn't filled with mud, etc. Brass always seems to sell better if it is clean. :)
A dealer can get a little more because they have a reputation and they have it...
Here is a collection of nonsense from Stage 1 - Train Station Hilarity. The dare was on for mid-air shooting. My run actually worked out pretty well even though it didn't win on style points.

Wes,
The new website is great! I wish I could make the Oct 2nd class, but I have previous plans.
Please keep us updated on the future vehicle class dates with the email list. :)
They are a good load, but they are also a hair longer (before firing) than most 2.75" shells. That means they don't fit as well into some shell caddies and they also sometimes only fit one less in the tube than other shells.

If the oil you are using doesn't have specific rust inhibitors it won't do any good. Most gun oils do, but many regular oils don't. I generally use Mobil 1 to lube my competition guns, and it's not a great rust inhibitor by all reports.
To keep the sights from rusting you will need to use...
Who else is planning on going to this match at the Double Tap Ranch next month (Sept 25th)? Eight stages with about 225-230 rounds & a prize table. I'm going to send in my check tomorrow. Looks like it will be a great match, especially with Porter as the MD!
For those of you who haven't...
My 2011 will take a lot of negligence as far as cleaning goes even with extremely light springs in the gun. The magazines are the only part that I clean religiously (any time they hit the dirt/sand). The rails & barrel get cleaned every 1500 rnds or so unless it's a big match, the extractor...
I think Jesse had a different contest in mind... :)
But yeah, I'll probably go ahead and shoot L10 minor. Sounds like fun and I still have some minor ammo left over from the steel challenge match last weekend.
Zeke,
Keep your guard up. They might be vampires. Vampires are always nice - at first.
I carry a mag full of .40 loaded with silver bullets and keep a kevlar neck guard handy. Your choice, but it never hurts to be prepared.
