Also, as someone has already pointed out....neither will keep "all" water out...but in my experience, the Retrax kept more out than the Rollnlock.
I'd recommend plugging all holes and getting a weatherstrip kit for your tailgate. This will go a long way in cutting down the amount of dust in...
I had multiple of both; Roll n lock manual and automatic and the Retrax. I would recommend the Retrax over the roll n lock. Low profile, stout and finish lasts longer. All of my roll n locks covers really dulled over time and they all became harder and harder to open and close over time due to...
I tried it and did not like it. Worked okay on my AR's...but it gummed up and jammed a couple Glocks and my 1911's wouldn't run cold at all. Currently using Lucas Gun Oil that was given to me. Really like it. Next will simply be a quart of Mobile 1. Should last me forever.
1911's are what you show your friends and family....Glocks are what you show your enemies!!!
Kinda serious....but seriously, I like them both. I have several 1911's and lots of Glocks.
Fellas....got the Bugbite yesterday and it's not going to work for me and my G43. IMO, you would need a much smaller gun to us this holster and be able to conceal it, without wearing Bell bottoms!
It's a size B.....anyone want this for $40 before I send it back? I'm $45.95 unto it with...
Been tinkering with the idea of an ankle holster for a while now for those days I just can't IWB because of business attire.
This one looked interesting, so I have one on the way. I'll let you know once I get it and have a chance to use it a few times.
Looks like a pretty good and comfortable...
Man...those are awesome. You don't need video, audio or commentary to realize those cats were some tough mammer jammers. Nothing like fighting out of a soup bowl!!
For the first time in a very long time....I "won't" be in a tree. Sucks, but I'm still recovering from a total hip replacement from August 29th. I should be able to climb a tree by the end of October and definitely will be in by Rut.
also....where you plan on wearing the 19 will make a difference on which holster most will recommend; appendix, 3/4 o'clock?
For appendix, I would recommend Keepers Concealment 110%
For 3/4 o' clock I would recommend something like Comp-tac Mtac or Alien gear.
Started my EDC with a Kimber Ultra Carry, then a Glock 19, then Glock 26, then Kahr CM9 and now a Glock 43. At first, I didn't like the idea of only having a "single" stack.......but, was very tired of the weight and being uncomfortable carrying all the time. Went from IWB at 3 oclock to AIWB...
Cool - I assumed they had them, but didn't know they'd have DJI at those price points. Best I can tell, I'm going to need to spend somewhere between $1500-2500 to get something decent that I can use for the next few years.
