We used aqua well drilling out of Choctaw. When we were looking, they were the cheapest around and did a good job. We also had to drill to about 175 feet to get good water.
This is exactly why I don't let any of my girls go to sleep overs at their friend's houses unless it's people we've known for a long time. What gets me though is that my girls have friends whose parents let them come to our house without meeting us, or even a phone call! Maybe I'm over paranoid...
From what I've seen of the incident, it looked like excessive force but that's just my opinion. I was talking with my wife last night about this, and it's almost to the point where I want to buy dash cams/on person cameras to record any interactions with law enforcement. Not that I have many...
This is how I start my teens out, plenty of open space to learn control and nothing to run into. What's really fun is to let your little ones, maybe five or six years old, sit on your lap and steer while you operate the gas and brakes. they think it's the best power wheels ever. :wink2:
And...
On a somewhat different note, did anyone else see the video where the SWAT team gassed the news crew and took their equipment, all the while being filmed by another news crew? From a LEO perspective, why would they do this? Have they declared martial law or a curfew that also applies to news crews?
Can't say for sure on a favorite, I liked them all, but I really liked Mrs. Doubtfire. I had forgotten about One Hour Photo, he was really good in that too.
We watch it every year, but I'm not liking the "Docudrama" trend with shows like Megladon and Submarine shark. Just give me crazy people getting in the water with Great Whites, the breaching sharks, real shark attacks, and stuff like that.
Yeah, the whole "welfare farmer" thing is insulting to the many smaller operators that work long hard hours for little reward other than being your own boss and loving the work that you do. My family farm goes back 4 generations, and never once did we participate in any government subsidy program.
I have 4 kids in public schools, and we've experienced the same problems. They bring home these worksheets that were printed from some online source with no explanation from the teacher on how to complete them. We had to go to YouTube as well to try and figure out what in the world they were...
We got about an inch and a half total, which was nice because it greened everything up, but not nearly enough to get any into the ponds. At this rate, by July my ponds will be completely dry. It was nice to get the rain without any severe weather though.
We're having problems with our dogs digging up the flower beds, mostly because they're damp from watering and it's a cool place to lay during the heat of the day. (All outside dogs). We've tried various repellents including their poop, and nothing has worked. These dogs have many places to go...
Don't know if that's their true name, we've just always called them that because if they get ahold of you, it hurts like fire. ;)

I'm fighting them too, fire ants in the yard and the little back ones around the house. I've used borax on the fire ant mounds and that seems to get rid of them, but up around the house I'm using the clear liquid stuff that also has borax in it. It takes a few days, but seems to work.
