All the agencies I've worked for provided our vests and change them out every 24-36 months. Soft armor is provided, they can buy him a trama plate, but he will be uncomfortable after several shifts in a car.
I need to have a trailer with rust that needs to be blasted off. Anyone have a Tulsa suggestion with a good price? I can take the trailer to them if needed. Looking for suggestions.
I remember reading about OK 2461 being proposed, but I didn't realized it was voted in to law. The moral of the story is to get your trust done sooner than later. I'm on the fence if I want that type of responsiblity and paperwork.
I have read about the proposed rule change (27 CFR 479) where form 1 & 4's would require CLO to sign even in a trust. Did this rule go active in January of 2015 as proposed?
I've looked around, but I can't seem any additional mention of it aside for reading outside of this site. Thought I'd...
I have a need for a professional audio installer for some clean up help on a previous install for a truck I just bought. If you wanna make some extra money, give me a shout.
Now that would be a nice thing to have, a PSD Boonie Box of parts!
When you change the Cam Position Sensor, will you loose any oil or can you just swap it out on a cold motor? I know oil drains out on my Harley so I can only change the CPS when the oil is drained. Didn't know if Ford was the same..
Thanks for Poplin's details! I'll stop by and introduce myself. I love my truck when it runs right and it seems the grimlins have been removed from the system. I've had nice strong starts all day long with good cooling between running around.
Let's hope this thread can now rest until another...
Yes the culprit seemed to have been a lift-time warranty from some autozone type store. Looks like it lasted about 14 months and since I don't have the original receipt I really can't get it replaced. SO, I have a new starter this time in my name. I went with the heavy duty version form Napa...
Alright,
Starlog 05.20.2013
This morning I took the starter to get it tested. There were some small arc's / Sparks from the starter and the gear didn't engage consistently or at a steady RPM. Guy tested it several times and got inconsistent results from my starter. It was marked "NEW" and when...
Ok, it's 0213 and I have the starter pulled out, it was replaced by the previous owner with a build date of 031912. It's this one: http://www.amazon.com/TYC-1-06669-F-Series-Replacement-Starter/dp/B0034BP1Y2
At least that is the page that came up when I put in the model number.
I'm going to...
All of the battery cables are factory original and I cleaned the terminals when I replaced the batteries yesterday. I think I can easily pull the starter out. I feel like I'm close but still just chasing the rabbit...
Since I've been home a couple of hours I thought I'd go out and give it a try. NOTHING... so I put a meter on the batteries and both read 12.84 volts. While I had the hood up I tried to jump the starter again with nothing. I can hit the starter with a dead blow hammer in the morning and see if...
Yesterday I replaced both batteries, the ones in the truck had been there since 12/11 so they had been working correctly. I didn't have meter on me to see the battery voltage, but as soon as I pulled out of the Church parking lot, I drove 1/2 mile and had them checked at the parts store. The...
Ok new update. Got the truck out and drove around today with a couple of starts and stops. All seemed good until we go to church tonight. I back in a parking spot and when I come out the truck won't start again.
This time when try to hit the starter with a jumper wire I get nothing... The...
