If you're concerned about rigidity (X-bracing) - you can move the shipping containers adjacent (against) the shop walls and weld brackets to attach the containers to the shop.
The containers would provide some lateral/perpendicular rigidity to the building assembly.
If you do this, you could...
Awesome pics, and great progress!
Looking good....
BUT - I have concerns about the legs.
I know you welded the pipes to the bottom of the truss so that it'd be taller. (Who wouldn't want a taller shop) But I'm concerned about the pipes.
In short, you have a tall rigid structure (truss system)...
I'm not calling you callous. I'm just saying depressed people need help. And I hope the help actually provides benefit.
Depressed people need help - long before euthanasia is considered.
I seriously can't believe I have to argue with other people to be sympathetic with people needing help.
Yes, people with chronic depression do well to hide it. It's unfortunate when family/friends miss the signs and can't/don't intervene before it's too late.
It seems callous to just dismiss...
I find it interesting that a multi-million dollar high-tech freighter, somehow had a single point failure (of some sort) that rendered it helpless.
In engineering, "single-point-failures" are typically designed out before construction.
I'd like to hear more of WHAT failed and WHY?
How many files? 30? 300? 3000+?
(We don't need to know...)
- Copy the files to thumb drive (or dvd) and take it to a friend's house. (That has Win11)
- Open files and 'save-as' older word file type.
- Move the converted files (older file type) back to thumb drive.
- Open using other word...
Google is your friend and foe.
There are 100's of RV articles on this exact topic. Most articles recommend 10-12 ply heavy duty truck tires for more load capacity. Others disagree.
Good luck. You've open up a can-o-worms.
(...Getting popcorn for the show...)
Honest question,
Other then the number of plies, what's the difference?
10-12 ply being best, in my head...
More plies = more load capacity, typically.
I'd be ok with this idea.
It's $400 per month for 6 months.
It's barely enough to get rent and food.
This is effectively a small step to keep them from being homeless.
Getting a job while homeless is very difficult, so this help to avoid that problem.
Desperate people do desperate things. This...
