Pretty good crowd, probably after 10: 30 or so, guy comes on the PA with this announcement. Attention - our #1 gun salesman has just.....Flown over the bldg. in Air Force One. Its was Obamaman going to El reno from OKC for some pandering. Got a good laugh.
Thanks for all the quick answers. I will go over to Marlin Owners. One thing that I caught in reading the specs on the Marlin site was a gold plated trigger. Is this still included, because mine didn't have it.
What does the W mean in 336W? I have heard all about the QC issues with Marlin and have hesitated from buying one for that reason. I have wanted a lever gun because I am left handed and have most guns that are not made for lefties eject right back at ya. My wife got it for me for Christmas...
Thanks for the help. Didn't see the CH one at Home Depot when I looked. Thats in my price range and should work. I didn't use any spray cleaners like Break Free until I got some semi autos. I could reach everything on my 686 with ease. My M&P 9 is easy if I don't take the slide off, just...
Let me rephrase myself query for those that didn't understand it. After I spray it with Break Free CLP and use my toothbrush to scrub the build up on the under side of the slide, after I use my q tips to get most of the stuff out, I then spray some canned air to get the rest out that I can...
I am looking to buy a small compressor to help clean my semi autos and I guess revolver. Right now I spray the slide innards with CLP and have been using canned air to blow off the residue but not much power there. Have look at some from Home Depot..Anyone got any experience that might save me...
I appreciate all the responses...I am taking it to the range tomorrow to see if it will go bang, hasn't been fired in over 20 years according to the owner...Thought I would run a swap down the bore to see what comes out but can't seem to get the bolt to stay open...Has far as removing the old...
I was thinking instead of replacing the old sight why not get a scope or some other type of sight? Do you know of any that would fit this gun? Also, they guy I am buying it from said there was a cleaning kit that went with it but couldn't find it. I have never cleaned a gun with what looks...

Was in the Wal Mart at 15th and I-35 in Edmond yesterday and the glass in all the ammo cases had cracked so they removed all the ammo. It said get an associate to help you, but you know how that is. In that store it just seems like there never is someone around sporting goods/automotive.
I had a Wal Mart pharmacy mgr tell me that they priced their drugs according to the competition in the immediate area. Makes sense to me..You might find everything is higher in lets say Elk City or even Lawton, although Lawton is not a small town. I get the Federal 9 mm here at the Wally's in...
In the Browning book I think it said $599.00 but those are usually high..Mags at $29.99. That might keep me away. My wife bought a p22 and really likes it, but I'm not so much. Just need a 22lr pistol to shoot, my .357 getting a little out of sight on ammo. I guess if I had the coin I would...
At the summer expo they have. The Browning rep had one to show and it is a sweet little gun. Scaled down model of the 1911 but shoots 22lr. Great action and really felt good to hold. H&H didn't have one and the rep said they are kinda new but the catalog had a pic and some prices. He said...
