    Cope's & J&G's

J&G has been around a long time. They do a good job. Easy to deal with and they answer the phone.

    NEVER buy from palemetto state.

to give you an idea I think cdnn would give 10-15% discount to dealers.

    NEVER buy from palemetto state.

You can't. If people knew how small the margins are on new guns they would be shocked. You have buy a huge amount to have a chance at fair profit. If you have an employee that makes $12 an hour, $200 a day in rent, $50 a day in interest and $300 a day for the owner, you better be selling a lot...

    NEVER buy from palemetto state.

I like PSA, but I know there could be problems with shipping and service. Think about it from a business prospective, their margins are tiny so volumes have to be insane to drive profits. They have great exposure on the legal and business side and the consumers have none. I think we as consumers...

you guys gotta talk me down

I have never seen a browning with a frame like that. It's like a safari 1911 frame on a high power. It's really cool. How did he do it? Is it welded the frame or a custom built frame?

Which appreciates in value faster, military C&Rs or Modern Day Rifles?

I bought a crate of SKS rifles in 1992 for $42 each. The damn things were nasty. I think I sold them for $75-$95 each. It took two weeks of labor to clean the damn things. I wish I would have left them in the crate. I think all guns will go up. They usually beat inflation and if interest rates...

you guys gotta talk me down

I am a 1911 guy, but Jestik is right about the gun working. Most 1911s will not as well as stock glocks. That being said the right 1911 will run and be much more accurate. I have my glock by my bed. Ask an ipsc or idpa when it comes to speed and accuracy they will go with a single action trigger...

I'll take a steak on your grill after a great day at the range. I would rather have a steak, cold drink and good conversation with you than a free meal. I will bring the steak.

you guys gotta talk me down

pick your poison both guns have more mag capacity and we don't have enough ammo to break them. One is a Clark Custom .45 and the other is a 9mm/.38 super done by Virgil Tripp. Both shoot golf balls again and again.

    Polish P83 WANAD

I have a few. I would sell one for $290-$300 depending on the finish.

you guys gotta talk me down

The Glock may win that trial but it does not make sense. I clean my guns eveytime I shoot them. The Glock may run for 3 days without a failure, but if we were in a gunfight and you had your choice, you with your Glock or me with my 1911. You would pick the 1911 simply because the 1911 can shoot...

    Polish P83 WANAD

I have one and it works great. I prefer the size of the p64 polish. Both guns are a little pain to shoot. They hurt my hands a little. For my money I would suggest a cz82. The money is similar with a larger magazine and better shooter. I love all the Eastern Block Maks although the cz82 in my...

Good semi for under about $800

I have a glock by my bed and I know there are a lot of glock fans on the site. IMO the CZ 75 is the best non 1911 semi by a long margin. I have never seen one that did not work. They are more accurate out of the box than most custom glocks or xd striker fire guns. The only advantage the plastic...

    Do I need a gunsmith?

If you pay someone or replace it yourself, it may not fix the problem. If I were you I would play around with it. You should be able to tell if the extractor is broke. If you post a pic I will tell you. So when you shoot it the case remains in the chamber= failure to extract. This means the...

    1851 colt help

I think it's a 3rd model. I sold one in similar shape to a guy that deals in that stuff in Tulsa last fall. Depending on the bore and grips I would say $2200-$3000. Is it in good operating order, how loose is it, tough without looking at the gun, but that is my guess.
