Sure... works fine for some. But I've seen lots of situations where it is an issue. Everything is individual, which I why I said it can contribute. I don't think it's an absolute no no, but it's something that makes it "easier" to walk away in some instances.

Not sure you can even run these on some networks anymore? I know AT&T and several others are dropping support for 3G, I don't know if old style non-smartphones are even going to be supported anymore.

And lobbying the government is also kind of a basis of our system of government. The last thing we want is a government full of "elected officials" who are totally insulated from their consituency.

I learned when my truck broke down out in the country. I used to commute 75 miles each way to work from Bartlesville to Ponca City. I went most of a year without a cell phone, then when my truck took a dump on me, I finally gave in to my wife's nagging and got a cell phone again. <sigh>
