Is there any pheasant hunting in Oklahoma? I know there are doves.. but I'm from Nebraska originally and interested in pheasant hunting here.

Not really. You can get into some up around Enid, but that is all I know as far as central Oklahoma. Your best bird hunting is going to generally be in the western half of the state. I do most of mine up around Laverne and Woodward. I hunt bobs mostly too though.

There are lots of pheasant in OK but not too many on public land. If you want to hunt pheasant here, you really have to do your homework to get permission or know someone who has done it for you. After the first week of season, it is much easier to get permission but everyone seems to have family and friends hunting the first few days. Go N to Blackwell and turn West and you will be in pheasant country all the way to the end of the panhandle.
