here is my project for the weekend and a couple of eveningsIMG00250-20120518-0757.jpgIMG00248-20120517-0632.jpg
First is my many projects Second is a few of them after I had pulled them from the cryo during the heat treat process.
I was gonna change out the bed to a 1/2 ton but I changed my mind. Im keeping it the way it is. The frame looks to be in good shape so MustangII IFS is what Im doing up front, not sure about the rear, something with four link and Im going to bag it. The original engine runs so I don't know if I want to rebuild the inline 6 or just go with a 350 as I had planned. All I know is that I want ithe suspension done first to where I can drive it, and then start on replacing the one cab corner and cab foor, even thought not the entire floor needs to be replaced. Im just that way, do it right the first time.

Here is my weekend project, not nearly as impressive as Mike's, I will be doing good to finish one or two of these.

I've got a '66 Mustang that I'm trying to decide if I want to fix up or sell to buy more guns.
Sadly it's beginning to rust on top, but mostly is just needs to be sanded down and repainted. Everything else is intact. It was drivable but had minor engine problems when my parents parked it 12 years ago.
Gotta figure out how to repaint it... *wanders off to google to look up how to restore old cars*

Well, I started another project this last week. Ive been looking at getting a another pistol lockbox that would be a lot more bugler and kid proof then the gunvalt I had. A lot of people seem to have real good luck with the Fas1Safe but for a little more then half of the price they wanted I thought I could build two and get them a little more tailored to what I want. Here is the beginnings of trial #1. Note that the notched side of the opening is for the hinged side. If you dont already know why I did it that way you will see later. Its made of 1/4" sheet steel
