First off, is it ok to make moonshine in oklahoma for personal use?

Next..... Any of you ever make moonshine on a small scale? I need a new hobby.

I was looking into this the other day - but to make my own fuel.

You have to obtain state and federal permits to distill for fuel. It is not possible to legally distill for consumption in this state.

I think its legal for personal use, if you sell it....the ATF with visit your estabishment. There may be a limit-volume of product you can make. I have thought about this many times,but buying the proper equipment,safe equipment.....I can't remember about aluminum-verses-steel...as not to give off impurities...can't remember. Bottom line,by the time I gathered this, a recipe, correct temp(distillation), bottles-jars.....you get the idea. I think its easier,cheaper,and safer if you get it from the liquor store. Making your own 'shine...is way off the cool chart!!!

That was it....copper. Couldn't remember the metal, but I do understand fractional dstillation!!!

Would love to tell some of the cool stuff that was made in a few inorganic labs back in college.....but that kids,is a different story!!!

Not legal even for personal consumption, only beer and wine are legal for personal consumption.
