Some real good info over at at arfcom under the Armory, Safes and Security, there is a sticky post about the most frequently asked questions and answers about gun safes.
It's the last sticky at the top of the page. Lots of awesome info.

That is good info. I have a bear and love it. It is a big one, plenty versatile, and well made. the trade program is a good deal as well.

Another very happy Bear safe owner. Keyed locks, exposed hinges, etc, and all!

Great people to deal with, fantastic service, and a great product. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a safe.

fransons has some in his shop and i really like them, i told him i would buy one, i just have to remodel a little so i have a safe place to put it. they are the best from the ones i have checked out, the armor c=vaults are alot more expensive to get fire protection.

I thought the Liberty Safe demo in the Bear showroom was especially eye-opening.
