If you want to see the video they have it on the bear web site or come watch it at our store.
We are the only distributer for bear other than the OKC store where they are built,
We have the very same prices because we are bound by contract not to sell them for more or less than they tell us to.
also cannot post prices, you have to come see them in person to see how little they cost.
and the post about Cosco having them.......WRONG

Those who demand quality are willing to pay for it.
Those looking for Cheap will argue that theirs is just as good and criticize you for demanding quality over value.
I lived with cheap for 50 years and now only look for quality and enjoy doing so.
I don't give a **** what you say or think about me or my products, you will not appreciate quality until you own it.
can you guys tell me where and if . I a safe 24" wide and high capacity 20 or greater . Any suggestions ? Width and capacity are the key.
Go with the Bear
And bolt it to the floor. AND get a dummy key that will fit in the lock but not turn it . Put the dummy key in a magnetic holder on the front of the safe That way if some thief breaks in, he won't toss the house looking for the "key".
"When young men seek to be like you, when lazy men resent you, when powerful men look over their shoulder at you, when cowardly men plot behind your back, when corrupt men wish you were gone and evil men want you dead . . . Only then will you have done your share"
It wasn't a video when I was there -- they actually have a Liberty safe there that they pry open. They also have one cut-away so you can see the innards and what those "locking pins" actually look like behind the scenes!
there is no comparison in fire between bear and any combination lock type safe.. your biggest enemy in a fire safe is metal. anywhere you have metal to the inside of a safe. that is connected to the outside of a safe. it will transfer heat. bolt system safes with all there pins that lock behind there door frame is nothing but heat transference. when you drill hole through your door for the dial and handle to operate internal locking parts. those holes transfer heat. when you drill hole through your safe to run a pwer cord through it. it allows heat to transfer through it. you can not have a safe with 40% metal transference and think it will protect you in a fire. if anyone wants to learn about safes. we want to educate. we will show you safes with the door panels off. show you good and bad. but let you see how they work. then judge it yourself. we know bear are expensive. but we build them to work. not to discount. a safe is a once in a life time expense. buy once know what you are buying and never look back. but before you buy.. educate yourself. to much to throw away for something that will not work..
