I'd say the classified section on this site is the best place to look, if you don't mind waiting til one comes along. I've also used Armslist with success. Of course, Wal-Mart is always an option--mine has the carbine version for right at $200.

I would wait for a used older model, before 2006 I think, that has an aluminum trigger housing. Honestly, that's just personal preference, but I hate the new plastic housings.

A local pawn shop in my town sells them for 180 in wood stock, and 198 in synthetic stock, i don't know how that compares to online, and in retail like academy, and gander mountain.

I was looking the other day.

Wal-mart in Yukon had some for $227. Outdoor America was $209. These were both standard carbine models.

Outdoor America had the Deluxe Model 22'' barrel & Walnut stock for $245.

This was last Wednesday so Im not sure if they are still there.
