    Guys,
    Starting a post for Navy vets any active duty, retired or just served in the Navy.

    Me first Retired Navy ITC what use to be Radioman.

    Not sure, when was he there? If he was there from 1987 to 1990 then I bet I did, VAQ-33 was a tight group of people. I worked in Maint Control and went on just about every detachment that was going out. I was the only guy AZ to work in Maint Control. There was I think about 650 people in the unit.

    how about a corpsman on the Gates named Steve Goodman? He was on board around 91ish.

    I was forward deployed with Airwing 5 onboard the USS Independence, I did a WestPac, 2 RimPac cruises, Cobra Gold, Operation Southern Watch, and took part of the Third Taiwan Strait Crises...lots of lil cruises and squadron Detachments along the way.

    Was the best 4 yrs of my life, I met some of the best guys I've ever known. I will never forget my 4 yrs as a Sailor.
