I carry a Ruger LC9.
I'm a big fan of the Sig P238.
I am waiting on the Sig P938, the 9mm version of the P238.
But they are going to be a bit pricey.
I may have to settle on something a little more reasonable for a pocket gun.

The 938 is on the top of my pocket rocket list. Followed by the Kahr CM9.

Ive been very happy with my Kahr CM9
I am partial to the Sig P238 also. Especially if you want to work with it enough to get reasonably accurate at a longer distance of 50 yds or so for fun in between carrying it. It has real sights, operates like a std 1911, and very good quality with low recoil in comparison to other .380 pockets on the market. It is a little chunky with sharper edges of the sights and hammer. It has the easiest rack of any .380 on the market for women with smaller hands and strength.
If you just want something basic to pull out at close range and fire from the hip, I would suggest looking at the P3AT or LCR. These .380's are lighter and have a smoother finish with basically no sights and no hammer, so they are easier to conceal. They have a different type action with a long heavy trigger pull, much larger recoil, but will get the the job done up close if needed. Good luck at finding what works for you.
+1 on the Ruger LC9. So light & thin that I forget it's there.
Absolutely agree. I have been through the Ruger LCP (couldn't hit the floor with it unless I dropped it) and Kahr PM9 phase (nice, but not as nice as a Jaybird) and have gone back to my Airweight J-frames, 442 or 642, for pocket carry. I know there's only five in there, but I betcha they all go off when I want them to. Plus, you can pimp a J out with fancy grips and gold trigger shoes and T-grips and all kinds of other sorts of bling.
Go with a Smith j frame air weight hammer hammerless what ever you like you won't be sorry.
My smallest gun is a Walther PPS in 9mm. I like big guns....even for CC. If the temp is 110 though I tend to go to the Walther. Hopefully the open carry law gets passed soon, so I'll never have to carry small again. I'll still CC....but wont be concerned about bulges?

I enjoy the company of my p238 when pocket carrying. Which is not often, but when the weather gets really hot and nasty my p238 will be there. Sometimes i carry my m85ul taurus .38 snubbie, but thats the days when my wife takes my p238.
J frame smith as a back up...
