Update!!!! Its not that good, Very stout but I drank my fair share.
Today at a small get together I let about 6 people have a shot of it. I also had a bottle of Junior Johnsons Midnight Moon. Everyone said the Midnight Moon was hands down the better likker. Everyone needs to try the midnight moon.

I will say that I've had my share of shine from the hills on NC, the mountains of Georgia and the surrounding areas of VA, SC and FL. I've even had some of SE OK's finest and would put a bet on the fact that the best has come from Webber Falls Oklahoma. Even after tasting the best the East Coast can make, I'll always fall back on the Webber Falls mash.

On a recent camping trip, some moon was passed around. Caution was advised.
Advice was not followed. I have several pics, but not permission to post them, as it shows their identity's. I do have one though.........

It smelled like it'd peel the paint off the walls, but it was damn smooth with a lightly sweet flavor to it.

Cool, Thanks. I may have to make a trip that way if I can't get my neighborhood store to order it.

The only moonshine I ever tried tasted like Coleman lantern fuel!

It was supposed to be the real thing from the hills of Tennessee, but I think he got cheated.

I tried a sip of that apple pie moonshine at the ProAm Shoot in Florida last summer. I have never liked the taste of alchohol but that stuff was good. No bite or aftertaste at all. I can see how you could drink way too much of it. In the words of my friend Curly Harrison, "You'll be standing there and then you won't!"

Back in the early 50's, my uncle who was a Buncombe County, NC deputy sheriff, would haul moon from Tennessee to North Carolina in my Dad's 1950 Olds Rocket 88. Dad had gone to Korea and left the car in my uncle's care. He took the back seat out, put a homemade 10 gallon drum in the back, would drive over the border to Tennessee (about 20 miles on backroads), fill up the drum and sell it to the local boys.
Anytime he got stopped he would flash the badge and go on his merry way. He made more money in one trip than he did in a month.

"I dont always post on OSA, but when I do it's about liquor." jk Is this mash you speak of only sold in Webber Falls?
