Aside from everything else, it is really dumb for him to risk losing his NFL contract before the cash even starts coming in. I hope this is a wake up call for Blackmon, and he gets his act together.

We were talking about this today and I tend to agree. Since Jacksonville hasn't finalized the contract, they could be having some second thoughts. Even if the first DUI was lowered to a misdemeanor they are still aware of it and would most likely see Blackmon as a liability. As they should.

I heard that the Jaguars recruiter/coach(?) likes to get squeaky clean players. He's not quite so squeaky clean after this. Wouldn't be surprised if the Jaguars silence results in continued non-comment to the point of not offering him a contract. Hope that juice was worth the $20 mil contract that could have been the start of something much bigger, Justin! Obviously didn't learn much in school.
