I wanted to share this.

I hope the death of this thing gives you and those close to you some closure and some peace.

You owe it to yourself and to those who died not to allow this horrible crime to cause more horror in the future, and that is no easy thing to accomplish. I strongly urge you to get counseling from whatever source you are comfortable with, whether it's church based or the medical community or wherever you can get good help.

It is your duty to live a long and happy life, remembering those who you lost. You have to divorce yourself from the very natural hatred you feel. I don't mean forgive, and I don't mean forget. Just do not allow yourself to be consumed by hatred. Keep it as a pet if you must, but keep it on a leash. Remember, you are in control at all times. My very best wishes are with you and yours.

I, too, will be glad to see Tuesday come and go. May God be with you and yours, sir. I cannot imagine the emotions that go with all this ... I simply cannot ...

I don't know that I've ever said this here but before I worked on a couple of death row appeal cases I was staunchly anti-death penalty. It is amazing what a little reality will do to a person's perspective ... I now truly believe in my heart of hearts that there are some people that deserve to be put to death. This poor excuse of a human being is one of those animals.

Oh, there will be a divorce on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at OSP! It will be painful for some and a relief for others.

I may just dance a jig in honor of my recently departed father. He wanted to be there so badly. Trust that I do not allow hate to run me and that I have access to the best available counseling. However, I certainly hate the idea that this piece of trash shares moments in time with me. Say im enjoying the warm sun on my face in the morning light. I despise the thought that he too may be enjoying my same sun. The list goes on and on.

True dat. I worked with another lawyer closely on a few criminal cases and he was opposed as well. When I pressed the issue and said if this man had murdered your family, shot them in the face and buried them in a shallow grave, could you really be ok with sharing a moment in time with him? I then described, as above, where I see his enjoyment of the little things that I enjoy such as the warm sun, or a good hot dog as a slap in my face. I want this man gone and want to no longer share a moment in time with him. His retort was priceless. Damn! When you put it like that I could understand wanting someone dead. I just wish our system worked a bit better.

I have called him many things. Here is an article where they quoted me as saying he was an animal and that I no longer want to share this earth with him. All true. The reporter did a nice job I believe. There will be an expanded article with these items tomorrow I think. My brother has a different view here as you can tell. Even so, he wants this man gone as bad as I do.

Again the tough part is that my father is not here to witness the execution. He passed away July 1st and was a true patriarch of the family. He was scared he would not make it to the day. I thought he would because he was such a tough old bird. Still not clear on what happened but that's another story. Thanks everyone.

My nephew was mudered (executed) during a robbery in OKC many years ago. I know the pain and heartache it brings to a family. May the Lord comfort you and your family.

I am reading this at 5:24 on Tuesday the 14 of aug and wonder if this will be shown in the news at 6 pm? I am sorry for all you loss. It pisses me off when these characters get to live this long when it is a slam dunk case. If you see it on a video or 20 people see you commit the crime the time for the person should be over next day, no waiting, no excuses, the execution should also be public. Televised on a special channel!
