Did any of you go to Falls Creek when you were younger? Iv been going for about 5 years now and am going back next week. They say its a church CAMP but its more like a small town.

I went to falls creek in high school. It has changed quite a bit since I was there. All services were outside and the cabins were not as nice as they are now. Lots of pregnancies came from falls creek in my day. Why would you have an area at a Christian camp called devils bath tub and allow kids to have free time to hike off into te woods? I touched my first boob there!!

Heard lots of debaucherous stories about that place from my Baptist friends when I was a kid. I guess they had, uh, fun.

Loved Falls Creek. Have not been since 81 . Loved the Devils Bath Tub and had to place your gum on the gum tree. Also I loved the view from the Eagles Nest.

It's been twenty years but yes, went several years. Of course one had to sweat it out in the tabernacle then as it was open and no A/C. Ridge's and B96's stories are accurate as well.

I too have heard the debauchery stories from Baptist friends. Though being raised non-denominational Christian I have no personal experience.

Sounds like a hopping place! Nobody parties like a Baptist or a Catholic (though probably not together).

It seems like it has changed a bit. The Tabernacle is now air-conditioned and very comfortable, and They have a "guard" at the devils bathtub. The gum tree is still there, people still get pregnant, and some of the cabins are still the old ones they had way back when (the ones that my group stay in)
