Concerns with the new XDs

I've seen this happen after the last round. It's a serious issue.

I just finished shooting the first 30rounds(WWB) out of my XDs. I had 0 FTF, 0 FTE, and after the 30th round the slide failed to lock back, but i was able to use the magazine release to release the mag. Then i pulled out my g26 and shot 13 rounds of powrball +p and it felt like a pee shooter....lol.The recoil is managable for such a small gun, but i doubt i will be doing 100 round session with the XDs. I will continue to use my g26 for my EDC, XDs is going to have to earn my confidence before i start using it for my EDC, if i keep it.

A youtube member sent me a video on how to fix the problem i was talking about. I havent had a chance to try it yet. I will tonight. But if anyone had this problem occur, this looks like a fix that might wirk. Check it out.

IT WORKS!!!! IT WORKS!!!!! I PUT TAPE ON IT AND IT WORKS!!!! I can get it to do it again. Only way I can is if I lock the slide back stick my finger in the ejection port and fiddle with the follower. But not buy placing the mag in the giving it pressure. Ill give it another range session and let y'all know how it goes, soon.

UPDATE: fired another 69 rounds today with 0 fte, 1 ftf( which I blame myself, it was the first round in a new magazine, I don't think I cycled it proparly. I was seeing how fast I can reload a fresh magazine.) The last 30 shots I took (pictured above) were taken practicing a drill. I would have the gun holstered and extra mag in my pocket. I would do a one handed draw and fire 2 rounds(I was only loading 2 rounds per mag at this point) drop empty mag and reload a fresh 2 rounds and fire into target, with out using sights, just point and shoot like my life depends on it. This is when the ftf happened. The last ten rounds were fired 5 roundds(emptying the mag into target) of those 10 rounds all hit the target. From the 20 before 5 missed the paper completely. There was a distance of 40 yards between me and the target.....LOL, j/k I was 3 yards from the target. NO MAGAZINE OR SLIDE ISSUES TO REPORT!!!!! I am very impressed with this little gun.
