I scream all the time. I also frequently call the anchors the "C" word............Communist.
Well, do you?? (BTW, this was GC's bright idea ...)
I tend to keep my comments to myself so that I can hear the ENTIRE segment before simply twisting off at the very sight of a mug shot or car chase. Am I being too insensitive to the "needs" of other tv watchers also living in this home by wanting to actually HEAR the news?
Thank you for your assistance in this matter (And yes, the information gathered in this poll will be used by both parties in the future for any and all purposes, up to and including abject humiliation during arguments over said inability to hear said news broadcasts.)
ETA: You can make multiple choices and your choices are public. Enjoy!
I scream all the time. I also frequently call the anchors the "C" word............Communist.
Last time i got loud at TV, Candy Crowly of Meet the Press, asked the panel if "we should ban assault bullets".
2013 sucks. I spilled a gut, lost a nut and broke my heart.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but it is usually just quite, calm, reasonable comments like "how f%*&%ing stupid can you get???"

I don't usually scream, but have been known to throw the BS flag along with alot of head shaking and muttering under my breath. Usually about things the "government" does, or bad things that happen to children.
David watched the news religiously from 4pm-7pm every day. I may watch the BBC on PBS a couple times per week. It was interesting to watch them cover the events in CO. Since weather here doesn't take up 20 min out of every 30, the local anchors have more time to tell us all where they got their shoes and where they would like to go on vacation. Certainly "news you can use." LOL

I try not to watch the news, unless it is channel 4, and then only for weather, and then only if that very pretty Emily Sutton is on...other wise, nope I try not to watch the news.
I got into the habit of watching every day after GC started working nights. I am accustomed to a certain "quietness" that is no longer present ... It's like having kids, I guess I'll adjust eventually ... ROFLMAO!!
Oh Lord Maggie, I don't dare try to watch BBC while GC's here ... THOSE guys have an accent! LOL
I only watch www.infowars.com

Having worked in the news biz for 20+ years as a shooter, I find local TV news consistently mind-numbing, national TV news agenda-driven and purposefully biased, and newspapers, for the most part, worth less than the paper they are printed on. I don't waste my time with TV news. It's all crap and I tired of screaming at the talking heads years ago.
I find news radio, specifically FOX News Radio, to be somewhat more objective, especially compared to ABC radio news or the leftist touchy-feelie NPR.

I wouldn't say I scream at the TV, but I could make a sailor would run from the room screaming, which is why I don't watch very often.
I find the local news really kindergartner'ish and not all unlike Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, but a big +1 on Emily Sutton. Can't believe there's not a ring on that finger yet.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
