    Default Best hamburger in Tulsa

    Sooner State Pawn
    My wife and I got into a heated discussion about the best hamburger in Tulsa.
    Her step dads brother owns Hanks on admiral so her opinion is a little tainted.

    I really enjoy fat guys.

    What are OSA's thoughts?

    tell ya what i'll be an impartial judge. Bring me one burger from each place that gets mentioned in this thread. meat and cheese only no veggies or condiments. i will test them all and report my findings.


    i say Bill's is pretty tough to beat though.

    J.J.'s Gourmet Burgers, 647 South Peoria. Open about 11am til about 1 or until he runs out of burgers, Monday through Thursday. He only makes about 25 per day. If you ask how much they are you are in the wrong place, cash only. He is the burger nazi and can get away with it because they are way better than any other burger I have eaten. If he likes you you will get no cost extras and he will give you a membership card when you leave. If he doesn't like you prepare to leave early. It is not fast food.

    I second this. Haven't been there in a few years though. Though it's a chain, if I was in the mood for a good burger, I'd head to Smashburger.
