Such evil men can only be affirmatively and unconditionedly repelled with gunfire.
RATM... now that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time.
They rally round the family, with a pocket full of shells.

Yeah, The guys in Rage Against the Machine were communists. Not communists in the regular OSA hyperbolic sense, but avowed communists. Their music reflected their political beliefs.
In Ryan's defense, we should acknowledge that Republicans only care about poetry if it has a good beat and you can dance to it.
Reagan and the first Bush loved Springsteen.
I call it the Madman Theory, Bob.
Hi there, I'm Paul Ryan. I love commie music and pushing grannies off cliffs. My advisers have advised me to change my nose, because I have an enormous Bozo-like nose. No matter what the "insiders" say, I'm gonna keep my nose, because it's authentic, and I think that's what the people want.

I like the guy! And I think you put too much effort into your thinking if you judge the man, or anyone, on the music the listen to. Charles Manson was already crazy and on the path of the unjust when he first heard Helter Skelter. I am 55 years old and strongly believe the bumper sticker "if it is too loud you're too old." listening to CCR, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, The Greatfull Dead and other Head Bands while in high school and now still listen to them. As well as Rage Against the Machine, Anthrax, White Zombies. But also jump at any chance to listen to Stevie Nix & Fleetwood Mac. All of this done while being one of the most conservative serious Christians anyone ever met.
So, judge the man not the "hairdo."
So, judge the man not the "hairdo."[/QUOTE] how can you judge the man without also judging the "hairdo''?
Isn't it possible that the man wears the hairdo so long that he eventually BECOMES the hairdo?
These are just random thoughts from an old man in Ignorant Bend, Oklahoma. I hope you young people won't judge me too harshly.
I call it the Madman Theory, Bob.
Lemmings. Unless you listen to **** kicker music all day long you are going to listen to music made by some pretty liberal people, I happen to like RATM as well. Not sure I like Paul Ryan though. Just because he is a hunter does not make him a friend of the second amendment.

I'm sorry, were we talking about some political topic or some such?
I listen to RATM also, I just find it hilarious that a GOP VP candidate admitted to listening to it. It would be like Biden admitting to listening to Ted Nugent!
Sounds like Ryan is a Neocon...not a surprise...statist, aggressivist, "safety over liberty" type
