JC Higgins 22LR in Ex Cond $150.oo

This JC Higgins semi auto 22LR has been stored for years. I cleaned her up and ran a couple of tube fulls through it about two weeks ago . Not a single misfire even with Walmart Federal 22Ammo.

I consider her to be in excellent condition. She has been stored inside a house -Not in the garage-

Bluing is extremely well and there are no major dings / dents in the stock. I Believe that the Higgins line of rifles were made by High Point Manufacturing. It Breaks Down Extremely very easy, in only a couple of minutes.

The only possible items of trade I would consider might be ham radio gear.

My guess is that it was made by Hi Standard and is a Model 31.

Yep...made by High Standard. If it is 22LR only, I believe that it is a Model 29. I think that the Model 31 will shoot 22 S/L/LR.

Luke gets the Prize. Its a 29 -and a Nice One at that- The only reason I'm selling is that I came across a Model31 that is just as nice, so am letting this one go. Any idea of the production years of these rifles?
