    If you haven't seen the full version with subtitles, get it. I know (or more correctly, knew) one U-Boat guy, and he said Das Boot was so accurate it gave him flashbacks. He said he noticed at some point during the movie he could actually smell the boat. He said the smell is very like a hog pen . . .
