Default question for those who partake of alcohol

    Sooner State Pawn
for those who drink i am sitting here wondering if i am the only one who after one drink i keep making them stronger and stronger adding more whiskey and less cola, won't be long and i will be at whiskey on the rocks straight. it has been a long time since i drank the stuff and am shoving the sober wagon off a cliff. Not to worry all guns but one are locked up unless zombies break in the door. notice no mag and is on safe. by the way copenhagen after six months without feels like heaven and a little buzzy on its own.

Alcohol dulls your sense of taste and smell, so the more you drink, the less you taste. Amazing wonder of nature that works in your favor if you're not one who enjoys the taste of liquor.

When I'm mixing, sometimes I'll do that, though. Like when I make bloody marys and I start running out of V8 but still have plenty of bloody mary mix and vodka left over. Even though that's not really a drink designed to be consumed to the point of fist fighting and falling down on your forehead, I can't help it, they're just so damn delicious. Otherwise, I hate the taste of vodka.

No need to water it down with pop. When its time to tie one one, i do it straight. Black Haus, blackberry schnapps does it for me.
2013 sucks. I spilled a gut, lost a nut and broke my heart.

probably wouldn't water it down with soda pop, but after about 2 years without tying one on i'm a bit of a light weight. heck tried one of my favorite beers the other night and a six pack had me pretty tipsy. my last drink for tonight is just enough soda for a slpash o color like i remember. wow i'm a cheap drunk these days. think i will just spend my money on ammo and women from now on.

Are you OK, Don't know you but do you need someone to talk to? Seems kind of strange you'd suddenly "shove the sober wagon of the cliff".
*disclaimer Just because bettingpython says it's probably okay doesn't mean it is so. His opinons and statements are not a defense against prosecution.

+1; Used to love me some whiskey, but hadn't had a drop in 14 years. Let someone know if you need something.

I kinda like my Macallan neat but haven't had any in forever ... **sigh**

I'm with some of the other guys. If you do this again tonight, and tomorrow night, and the night after, you might want to rethink your strategy. If it's just a once in a while thing, you're good.

    RIP, Steve ... I miss you ...

Ditch the soda... Start like this... get a small glass, fill it full of ice, half whiskey, half water, let it sit for about 5 min.. and sip largely.

Congrats on the Big ole dip, and get your drinks right. ditch the coke!!!

As far as talking to someone yeah, we are here. But you are a big boy. If you want a drink, get one. Just do it in your own home. Don't drive.

And dont mix with pills of ANY kind, not even ibuprofin.

    Have fun!

OK man whats the deal? You obviously had a reason the stop the booze and the copenhagan, now to pick it all back up? Were here if you want to talk it out. If not, stay safe.

I'm sorry guys but whiskey and coke is the nuts! My FIL and uncle can go straight W.L. Weller on the rocks. Not for me. Sure I will drink some premium stuff straight but why not really enjoy the blue collar stuff with coke?
