Pronghorn Antelope Draw Hunt

Before the sever crash, i had several pm's going with people who had been drawn this year or previously for cimmaron county.

I'm getting pretty pumped up to get after a doe. Finally sighted in my 30-06 today with my new Bushnell 3200 scope. Walked it right in to 2 inches high at 100 yards. Who else is going?

I am going up on the 9th for a hunt starting the 10th. Cant wait!

You're going after a doe as well, right?

The server gave me a swift kick, but I managed to crawl back.
I am going after doe, and hopefully scout the area for a trip back with the bow later on.

Bowhunting them eh? I might give that a try next year. Don't see myself making that drive twice this year...but I might. Wish a taxidermist would cut you a break for getting a doe shoulder mounted. May sound dumb, but it's a once in a lifetime draw hunt and I love the hide that pronghorn have.

No way they'd do that. That is the situation they like to call "having you by the shorthairs." They know it's a once in a lifetime hunt for many people so they are going to want a mount and possible the hide too. Why get paid less for something you could really pretty easily charge more for.

A good friend of mine drew a tag and I'll be going up with him. Thinking pretty seriously about going up for the bow hunt as well since I really like the antelope meat.
