Nope complete opposite. Are you deflecting/projecting/compensating?

He suffers from small penis syndrome. Don't pick on the fng too much. He's got to go find something else to copy and paste to come off as intelligent.

Well, your count is low, but your join date is not brand new, so I can only guess you just mostly lurk, or come here to buy stuff?

Nope, not just a blow hard like you who apparantly equates posts with intelligence? I don't claim other's insights I site them. See I noted the source?

Ummm....no. You know nothing about his child and what challenges his child may have had along the way, but you assume there is nothing special there and decide to post in a rude and disrespectful manner.

He's a douche. Let's move on. If we ignore him, maybe he will go away again.

Ummm.... no. I didn't attack anyone personally.

However, I would consider the response for you and others rude and disrespectful. Want to reconsider?

Wow. Showing up to perform your assigned task(s), regardless of success, does not a hero make.

So by your definition....the fireman, police officer and the soldier are not heroes as they are showing up and doing the job that is expected of them? I believe all of the above are heroes, I'm just saying that not all heroes have to do something on a large scale. Anyways, I'm done....goodnight and have fun.

    I got your back Dennis!
    Thanks.

Unless performance is "above and beyond the call of duty", yes.

Why doesn't KFOR and others call track and field, wrestlers, basketball, tennis atheletes "hero's?"

    I don't understand.

Do football players do something different to make them "hero's"?

Because it is not "feet ball"?

Hey, no problem, I just hunted, fished, and ran MotoX for about 10 years. Never considered my self a hero for taking a hook out of my finger, wrecking a bike, or whatever.
Seriously, I did want to learn the Guitar, and took some lessons. Still can't even do a good air Guitar to this day....LOL!

Check with thread #56 and let me know what you think.

I never said atheletes weren't special on a personal basis, no matter if they were winners or on the loosing side. If your son was a hero to you, that is a personal decision that I not only accept, but endorse. My son wrestled for three years and won 4 matches in High School. I still supported, and attended every match and three a week practices he participated in, as that is what he wanted to do. He tried his best. I praised him for this.

After high school, and a short hiatus, he continued the sport on his own in a different style of the same sport. He now owns a world title in Brazil style JuJitsu submission wrestling. He choked out the reining world champion in a match and owns the title for his class. Good job Son!
In my original post I said that KFOR called football players friday night hero's. I don't understand why the other atheletes in other sports are denied this title by their definition?

I guess cause they don't play on Friday night. To call someone Thursday evening hero just don't sound right. Good enough?..BTW..I'm trying to think what channel 9 calls their football scores special on Friday night! I sure whatever it is is probably totally wrong to someone.
