There are 2 weekends I do NOT go to the lake or if I do, my boat does NOT leave the slip. Memorial Day, and Labor Day weekends. Glad they're okay.

I was at Lake Texoma Friday and Saturday. I was, however, in a small slow-moving sailboat. The idiots were just starting to show up around noon on Saturday and that's when we left. I don't think I've ever seen a longer line of extremely expensive boats at a ramp than we saw this weekend. Lots of horsepower and lots of booze. With $4 lake gas, some of those boats will burn hundreds of dollars of fuel this weekend. Luckily for us, the wind was free.

Looking at the stitching in the seats the guy was in a 38 ft Fountain similar to this one.

To wreck a boat like that due to waves on a lake you've got to be a pretty big idiot.

Everything I know about boats could fit into a thimble but am I correct in thinking that there are probably a lot of really nice, fast, expensive boats on the water being driven by people who don't really know what they're doing?

If he was KO'ed, he recovered pretty quickly - his hand comes up right at the end of the video. Of course, it probably didn't help that the shorter girl landed on top of him during the crash.
