    Default Gun Safe

    Sooner State Pawn
just posting to see if there are any used safes out there sale?

Been looking at a few online and wanting to upgrade to a bigger safe. I want something nicer than a sentry stack-on safe from walmart but can't afford a $5000 safe either.
Looking for a nice mid-range safe prefer it hold 15+ long guns and 15+ pistols with some storage left for ammo and such.

don't know if there is anything out there thought I would check before going into a store front to purchase.
would also like to keep it in the north east area of oklahoma if possible. would travel if its the right price and safe though.

pm with pics, price, and location thanks

will take a look at them next time I am in Claremore or vinita.

Looked at tractor supply and orscheln's here in pryor. Both Cannon brand safes. Was not impressed with them at all. doors didn't seal up tight when you locked it up. for 1000 dollars then put tax on that since I don't think I can claim farm use on it lol. I want something that seems a bit better built. and I am scared that those cheap looking electronic locks will fail on them. They also don't have a backup way to open if lock fails. would like to see there be a key that you can unlock it with if electronics fail.

heard of horror stories that when they do fail cannon doesn't cover it under warranty other than send you a new electronic lock and owner pays for safe opening and installation of new lock. again for 1000+ I want something better even if I have to wait til tax return money to buy. still hoping someone will step up to the plate and say I have this big ole Ft. Knox safe. I am upgrading to a bigger safe it even has what your looking for with that Dial combination. lol here is to hoping anyways lol

Bear safes has the recessed keyed locks that are actually good safes. Fransons may still sell them.
Make sure to get the model with 2(TWO) LOCKS.
May I also suggest something with a dial.
Also make sure it has the double locking hinge side so that If the hinges are cut the door doesn't come open, OR, several locking rods on both sides of the door.

No used ones but Bear safe is the best on the market...Well Under 3K for the mid size with 2 locks but the small one with only one lock will still meet your requirements for only a little over 2K.
    Come check them out

Those who demand quality are willing to pay for it.
Those looking for Cheap will argue that theirs is just as good and criticize you for demanding quality over value.
I lived with cheap for 50 years and now only look for quality and enjoy doing so.
I don't give a **** what you say or think about me or my products, you will not appreciate quality until you own it.

Look for the liberty fatboy to go on sell for around $1500. Full lifetime warranty and free replacement if broken into/fire happens. They will pay for the locksmith and all to open it. Best warranty ever!! Not to mention its 890lbs, buy bigger then what you think you will need, you will end up stuffing other stuff inside.

If you haven't already, you should check out SCI in Catoosa area. They have a large selection and not far from Pryor.

well I looked at that Bear safe on craigslist there in Okc. I am looking for something with a little more features it was pretty basic for the time and diesel I would spend to get to OKC and back home.

Well if I go to a store front SCI there in Catoosa is probably where I am going. I have a friend that works there and he has told me to come in their for a few years and look around but keep puttin it off. may check a few other stores out in town just to compare prices and such. will go by franson's and check out bear safes never heard of them so don't know about them yet.

anyways thanks for the reply's guys I appreciate it. Nathan
