Polls are only as good as the people polled and the guidelines used to poll those people. Most of these polls from the past couple of months showing Obama leading were actually polling 11% more Democrats than Republicans. It's just like the unemployment and inflation numbers. If you don't like the results, change the rules/procedures.

You want to see something really shocking, look into how many people actually determine radio ratings... Talk about slanted polls

Of course they are ... Everytime the polls tell me something I don't want to hear they are "rigged" and "bias" ...

(There's been an awful lot of biased polls in the last 4 or 5 years ... It's about time they started getting it right!

I'd recommend http://www.unskewedpolls.com. Seems to have a good track record of balancing the bias bs.

Couple of questions:
Have you ever responded to a telephone poll?
Did you tell them anything resembling the truth?

Personally I give crazy, non-sensical answers and attempt to contradict myself as frequently as possible.
