    Default Who is taking a kid out for youth hunt next weekend?

    I am pretty excited, my 13 year old daughter will be going on her first deer hunt next weekend. I'm going to sit down with her and she will be shooting a 243.

    My question is, are you taking someone out for the rifle youth hunt and if so what will they be shooting?

    My 14 year old daughter will be hunting with a 7.7 Type 99 Arisaka.

    9yo daughter has been out several times with me already this season with the crossbow. She missed a nice 8pt yesterday evening, I was more bummed than she was

    I will be taking a kid out. Either .243 or if they don't mind this week and do chores they will carry a 45 70 with buffalo bore ammo.

    Okla Youth Hunting and Shooting Program is taking 47 kids hunting next weekend in 5 regions of the state.

    I'll be taking out a kid and parent for the landowner I hunt on. Very rewarding.
