    i not sure what you mean by both are using 308,you might mean when you go deer hunting during rifle season you will be using a 308,but if you are planning on caring it with you during youth season i WOULD"NT and good luck to you and your son on first hunt

    Correct this weekend I won't carry a rifle but during regular season we both will be using .308s

    I have kids to take out. Landowner that I hunt on puts on a kid hunt every year. I'm really looking forward to it.
