Thread: Colin Powell

With 12 days to go before the presidential election, Powell publicly endorsed President Obama for re-election on "CBS This Morning" Thursday

"I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012 and I'll be voting for he and for Vice President Joe Biden next month."

And, despite his endorsement of a Democratic candidate in two presidential elections, Powell says he remains a Republican. "I think I'm a Republican of a more moderate mold,"

With all due respect Mr Powell you are full of chit.

Can he not have his own opinion? Maybe he looks at the two candidates and decided he has more faith in Obama running the country than Mitt? It is more non-party allegiance that is needed to make this country survive. We have to many people that think a republican has to vote republican and a democrat has to vote democrat.

With us or against us? No middle ground, eh? No such thing as a conservative democrat or a moderate conservative. God forbid anyone should stray off the Limbaugh right or the Maddow left.

I don't watch a lot of the all news stations, but that is down right scary...

I'll disagree. I can be described as either/or.

I love Christmas lights. They remind me of the people who voted for Obama.

The same could be said of Clint Eastwood.

"Full of chit." Unless, of course, his views agree with yours.

"Is anyone really surprised by this?" What is the implication? A black man is going to support another black man no matter what?
