Ok I'm sure some will say this is a knee jerk reaction but it's seriously been time for him to go for awhile now. His recruiting never has been up to snuff, team never has any depth and hiring Mike Stoops back was just pathetic. I know I know, winning percentage blah blah bah. Let's get real, he's coaching in the Big 12. He should be undefeated at home. I gave up on him after he couldn't get another BCS championship without Blake's players.

Yep...I dont know about getting rid of him.....

I just cant get over plays like 3rd & 7 and they throw a pass short of the first down marker to a guy who's route isn't even designed to make it to the marker......I guess I just dont get it....sure the guy should be able to get some yard after the catch, but why chance it....I didnt watch the entire game, I think i saw this instance happen at least 3 times...

They never threw a pass over 7 yards the whole game! One time they tried to stretch it out and the WR was wide open but "Deer in the headlights Jones" overthrew him by 10 yards.

Well considering this was a non conference game, your "its the big 12" argument is out the window. Norte Dame is a damn good team. Can't win em all. They will probably go 11-2 this year, with 2 losses to two top 5 teams.

Ill admit he seems complacent, but MANY, MANY, MANY schools would kill to have what he's brought to OU. Im not ready to throw him out with the bath water just yet.

You don't fire a good coach for losing a football game to a top 15 team. Anyone ranked that high has some of the most gifted coaches and athletes in the country, many who will be pro's. Crazy stuff happens in college. That's part of the allure.

K State and Notre Dame will most likely be ranked #2 and #3 respectively tomorrow. #2 and #4 at the worst. They got beat out by two of the best teams in college football. I fail to see the logic in firing him. I fail to even see why the thought crossed your mind.

Because like Stephen Cue said he is getting complacent. After the loss to Florida in the NC he came back and said in his press conference winning the Big 12 is the main objective. It shouldn't be. Even if we were in a tough conference like the SEC your conference championship should not be your main objective. Winning in the national spotlight and bringing glory to your school and state on the grandest level should be the ultimate objective. Basically he told the fanbase to be complacent with second best in my book.
