How quickly some forget the Gibbs/Schnellenberger/Blake years. To call for Stoops to be fired is insane. As an OU alum, I would be outraged.

OU simply got beat by a better team last night!

Notre Dame will finish 12-0 this year and I beat the play for the National Championship vs Oregon or Bama.

You bring up a great point. Stoops did some serious "house cleaning" before the season started. He canned 4 big time players for "team violations" or some phrase like that. Bad grades, drugs, chronic lateness, etc.
Had he not done that we might be undefeated. Remember that walk-on receiver that everybody was just screaming to be given a scholarship? Yep he was one of them. IIRC he also got a defensive end and a couple of O Line? Don't remember the exact positions but I know their loss hurt. Firing Stoops? Eh...Not so much a good idea.

Both the Stoops' should have a place at OU as long as they want one. It's totally unrealistic to think any program should go undefeated every year, especially with the parity in college football today. Calling for Stoops to be fired is ignorant.

Tell them at the next Alumni meeting you will not donate anymore money until its done. Losing two games to top five opponents is not a losing season and neither was a blowout.

Both Saunders and Stills averaged 12 yds per catch...... with a long of 33 and 35.

Well I can tell you he's not. There was a time when he was demanding and hungry for a NC. Now it seems to be that we just play to be the Champions of Texas. Too bad we can't be the Champions of Kansas.
