    Default Best Shotgun Reloading Presses

    Sooner State Pawn
Hello everyone. I would like to see if anyone has any thoughts about certain shotshell presses. I have had a Lee Loadall II for 15 yrs or so but have recently got heavy into sporting clays and skeet shooting. I'm considering upgrading my press to a multi-stage press like a MEC 9000HN or something similar so that I can pump out higher volume at reloading time. If anyone has thoughts on higher volume presses, I would greatly appreciate the advice.
    Thanks!

I've been loading on a 9000G for about 10 years now, don't think I would want anything else

If you go this route I would not get the "H" model just yet as there is a learning curve with the 9000 loader, check with "Mayvill Enginering" (MEC)
to see if the 9000G is upgradeable.
    Have a good Day.

I load shotshells on an RCBS Grand. Big, heavy machine. Puts out a ton of rounds.

I have a MEC Grabber. I bought it from a guy upgrading to a hydraulic operated MEC.

The RCBS Grand can be converted to hydraulic as well. One of the guys I used to shoot trap with had made the conversion.

Do you know what the price difference is between the hydraulic RCBS and MEC?

I just looked up the RCBS Grand. Looks like a really heavy press! I might try to find someone who has one and take a look to compare...thanks!
