Those will work, but if you plan on shooting a bunch, you can buy bulk bullets in a 55 gr fmj.
Sorry if this is plainly obvious or just a weird question, but I was browsing the natchez site today and happened across some Nosler bullets in .224 that are actually in stock. My question is, will these bullets work for my .223 AR-15???
I know that I need the .224 type bullet and I am thinking I want 55gr or more just to be on the safe side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Okay. That is what I thought. I have not been able to find any 55gr FMJ in stock anywhere though![]()
Can't see why it would not work don't load them long because they won't fit in the magazine like you can with some bolt guns

A little pricy, but I needed some for backup and I plan on going shooting this weekend.
I started running 69gr and 77gr for my AR. I'm paying about .16 a bullet when I buy by the thousand.
