Default Reloading question. Am I missing something?

    Sooner State Pawn
Sorry if this is plainly obvious or just a weird question, but I was browsing the natchez site today and happened across some Nosler bullets in .224 that are actually in stock. My question is, will these bullets work for my .223 AR-15???

I know that I need the .224 type bullet and I am thinking I want 55gr or more just to be on the safe side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Those will work, but if you plan on shooting a bunch, you can buy bulk bullets in a 55 gr fmj.

Okay. That is what I thought. I have not been able to find any 55gr FMJ in stock anywhere though

Can't see why it would not work don't load them long because they won't fit in the magazine like you can with some bolt guns

Found some 55gr FMJ in stock here: http://www.evergladesammo.com/223-55...j-bullets.html

A little pricy, but I needed some for backup and I plan on going shooting this weekend.

I started running 69gr and 77gr for my AR. I'm paying about .16 a bullet when I buy by the thousand.
