The first (and only so far) comment refutes the arguments. But in typical anti-fashion, the author calls the refutation foolish and conveniently ignores key aspects of it.
Especially irritating are the political cartoons which tell us that gun merchants are greedy and evil and gun rights advocates are mental midgets. Dehumanization of those with whom you disagree is worrisome, especially when coupled with the death threats that many anti's have been making.

This is what we're up against.

That first rebuttal destroyed the bloggers post.
The blogger was using the Bill Maher/Jon Stewart model of mocking and belittling the opponent while bringing little of actual history and substance to the debate.
The Second Amendment ...... Because crime SHOULD be a hazardous occupation.
Somebody should have had a gun to boom the bad man. -My 3 year old son.
Such evil men can only be affirmatively and unconditionedly repelled with gunfire.
