President Obama on Wednesday called on the House to "listen to the will of the American people" and vote on Senate-passed immigration legislation, something the White House knows is unlikely to happen as long as Republicans are deeply divided on the issue.

Those aren't the "American people" - those are mostly illegal border-jumpers.

Didn't this problem go away yet? Maybe it isn't a problem? If neither side compromises the problem stays the same. Must not be a big deal if it ain't important enough to solve.

Thanks for fixing it, but I am not under the illiusion that the Republican Party is one iota better, or more interested in my liberty, than the Democrats are.
To paraphrase Will Rogers - the only thing they really disagree on is who gets to dictate to the citizens.

Possibly true, but the Dems are, at least at present, much better at twisting the system to their own ends.
