I generally shoot a double OU and often wind up with one barrel open and one fairly tight. I carry an assortment of interchangeable chokes on the course.

Since there are no standard courses for sporting clays, I go with the setup as I find it and adjust accordingly.

Assuming we're talking sporting clays, here? If so, the chokes I use are predicated on the course being shot. The choke tube that spends the most time in my gun is probably Skeet 2. That seems to work fine on most stations and presentations for me. Sometimes I use a Skeet 1 or Cylinder Bore on rabbit stations. I might go as tight as Improved Modified on duck towers. It kinda depends.

But hey, I'm the stubborn fool shooting an 870 on the sporting course when everybody knows that sporting is a hinge gun and gas auto game 'cause you can't shoot true pairs with a pump gun....;)
