    Default 45's in the classifieds

I am wanting to replace my 45 that i sold. I've had XD's and 1911"s and would like to try something else. It seems that is all that is in the classifieds. Why no M&P's, RIA,STI's or even more glocks? Is it that everyone has tried these also and are doing the same thing as me?
Really enjoyed the thread about Taurus and RIA. It answered a couple of questions i had about the two. What are some other good choices in the $500 and under to consider? thanks

Look around for the P220, you can still find them for under 5 bills. Once you take one out to the range, you may never want any other .45ACP.
    I found mine for 300.00.

They are a sweet shooting .45. Accurate as all get out too. Almost as accurate as my Kimber, but then my Kimber had a 2.5lb trigger...

You can get an EAA Witness Elite Match 45ACP for about $530
I bought my Elite Match from www.reedsammo.com

    I think the STI's start around $650.
I like the RIA with adj sites start under $500

Either will serve you well. I carried a 4506, and was the last officer to give it up for the G22. At that time I still carried the 4566 as my off duty gun. I would trust my life to one!!!!

I have a RIA commander size 45. I shoot it more than my colt or custom 45's.
I just shoot it and put it back in the safe. I put 1200 to 1500 rounds a year through it. Reasonably accurate and reliable.
