OK, I don't know much about kydex holsters, so this isn't necessarily a list of just CCW, just competition, or just totin' around the farm, but pretty much anyone who makes a decent kydex holster (not really looking for Uncle Mikes or Fobus).

Lets try and keep discussion about the holsters in this thread (please, no "I like leather better than kydex" - we can start another thread about leather if need be). If you've got experience with one of the holsters in this list, pipe up and let us know your experience with it and if you post a holster-maker, post either a website for them (or one that sells their holsters) or some contact info.

Again, this is for all types - competition slick holsters, CCW holsters, duty-style holsters, good holsters for riding ATVs, drop-leg holsters, (even hybrid leather/kydex holsters).

So, I'll post a couple that I know of via personally having seen them (very little actual use, so I won't post an opinion about them):

Comp-Tac:

Kytac:

Safariland:

I'd love to know what holster Chris Costa is using in the Art of Tactical Carbine video.

Don't forget two of the most popular Kydex holsters on the market currently:

Raven Conceal Systems
OWB Ghost and OWB/IWB Phantom
themalabarfront.com
(These holsters have become so popular that wait times are now averaging around 70-75 days.)

Custom Carry Concepts
CCC Looper
http://customcarryconcepts.com/
(This holster has become so popular that Rich has had to suspend new orders for the time being because he was being inundated with new orders, and the wait time was getting past 10 weeks.)

ok - just ordered a Raven - should be here within the next 3 months.

Anyone have any personal experience with it? I read a bunch about them online and all of it seemed good.

What else is out there in the way of good Kydex?

I've worn Raven exclusivley for the past year. Nothing but good things to say. The wait times have gotten progressivley longer as they have gotten more popular.

There is also kytac and readytac, though not popular due to some customer service issues. Blackhawk has some nice ones. There are others as well that some people through in the same category, like the Serpa line, or Fobus, when they are really injection molded

Sorry, just saw you posted Kytac already

Blade tech makes some good holsters, I have a couple.
http://blade-tech.com/home.php

I've had very good experiences with blade-tech kydex holsters. I've only used the Inside the Waistband IWB (IDPA Approved) ones though, and I can say they are plenty durable with the loops (j-hooks will break though)...

Dunno about the thinner material for the nano series, and the wider loops on the other models look like they might help the gun ride better.
