Thanks guys! He's still talking about it all day, every day...hell, I would too! He's wanted to fishing every evening since he caught it, but school nights are hard to do.

Here is another shot of the cat. I've been asked what kind it was, but I'm not sure...blue...flathead?

Definitely not a Flathead. Flatheads do not have a forked tail, that is the easiest way to tell.

Looks to be a big channel cat. 15 pounds is a heck of a channel cat. I have only ever caught 1-2 channels that big.

These are flatties.
