Another scam,

Many of you may have already been approached by this, but I'll mention it:

Scammers on facebook, are hacking into accounts. They then send a message to the friends list of the account they hacked, claiming to be one of the friends. They talk about the Inflation reduction act and mention a program for senior citizens to apply for government grants. They state this is grant program for senior citizens to either start a new business, or remodel homes to allow seniors to put in accessible, and age assistance equipment so they can stay in their homes. You are then sent a link to a very real looking government where it asks for personal information, banking information,(for deposit of funds), and a filing fee. Just be on look out.

I get on average about 5 a day about some government or corporate program just dying to give me a bunch of cash.
And then there’s still the one where some dude wants to just ‘bless’ with a wad money.

It's amazing how I just seem to get along just fine every day without FB. I don't know how I manage.
